David Yurman
A sculptor's house: in 1982 David Yurman twisted gold wire into a helix and has been varying it ever since. Silver and gold sit side by side, coloured stones are cut as soft cushions, and the cable, which the founders call the river running through their designs, turns up in clasps, shanks and chains.

Inside the house
Sculpted Cable after The Cable Collection
Forty years on, the round helix is pressed into low relief, a row of polished gold waves laid side by side.
Albion after The Cable Collection
Albion twists the house cable into a split shank beneath one generous cushion of colour.
