Hortensia

Hydrangea florets gathered into pompoms, garlands and posies, the flower repeated in gold petals, pink opal and pavé.

Piaget Sunlight

The sun as a disc of gold rays, each segment engraved, brushed or polished, around a halo of diamonds.

Not every flower in this family is a flower. Piaget Sunlight takes the sun as its bloom, a gold disc of engraved, brushed and polished rays around a diamond halo, carried from the Sunlight Journey high jewelry of 2017 into an everyday line. Chaumet's Hortensia stays botanical: hydrangea florets in rose gold, pink opal and coral, gathered for Joséphine's Malmaison. Sunlight radiates from a single centre, and Hortensia builds its effect from many small heads crowded together.
