Sunflower

Eight matched stones ring a single round brilliant like petals around a seed head, laid out with a compass for strict symmetry.

Piaget Sunlight

The sun as a disc of gold rays, each segment engraved, brushed or polished, around a halo of diamonds.

Sunflower and sun, a play on the same star. Harry Winston's 1950 motif is botanical in name only: a round brilliant ringed by eight matched stones, measured with a compass, in platinum with diamonds, sapphires or rubies. Piaget Sunlight, which grew from the house's 2017 Sunlight Journey high jewelry, draws the sun directly as segmented rays of gold, each engraved, brushed or polished, around a diamond halo. Winston radiates through stones, Piaget through worked metal.
