Plume de Paon

A peacock feather drawn barb by barb in pavé, its eye marked by a single larger diamond, curling round the finger or falling from a chain.

Fiorever

Bulgari

Fiorever

A four-petal gold flower opened around a single brilliant-cut diamond at its heart.

Plume de Paon is the elder by more than 150 years. It goes back to 1860, when Frédéric Boucheron and Paul Legrand set peacock feathers on hair ornaments and brooches; today the pavé barbs curl round a finger or fall from a chain, the eye picked out with one bigger diamond. Fiorever, which Bulgari launched at the end of 2018, keeps to four gold petals around a brilliant-cut diamond, a flower drawn as plainly as a monogram.
