Boucheron
Boucheron treats gold like cloth: ribbed as grosgrain, gadrooned, faceted into Clous de Paris, a vocabulary drawn from a draper's son and kept in the archive since the 1860s. On the Place Vendôme since 1893, it pairs that tailoring with a naturalist's eye for peacock feathers, ivy and a black cat called Wladimir.
