Plume de Paon

A peacock feather drawn barb by barb in pavé, its eye marked by a single larger diamond, curling round the finger or falling from a chain.

Calla

One smooth cone, furled like a calla lily, hung alone on a necklace whose clasp disappears.

Vhernier works in rose or white gold, never yellow, and Calla shows the metal at its plainest: a single polished cone, furled like a lily, with nothing set on it in the original version. Boucheron's Plume de Paon covers its metal instead. Frédéric Boucheron and Paul Legrand brought the peacock feather into jewelry in the house's early decades, and today every barb is set with diamonds, the eye a single larger stone.
