Tiffany T

The capital T of the house name, pared down to a bar, becomes the clasp, the terminals and the whole motif of a bangle or ring.

Spelled in full or cut to an initial, the house name is the jewel. Bvlgari Bvlgari prints it twice in Roman capitals, a signature that began on a watch bezel and spread to rings, pendants and bangles. Tiffany T keeps one letter. In 2014 Francesca Amfitheatrof returned to a T bracelet in the Blue Book of 1975-76 and reduced it to a bar that serves as clasp, terminal and motif, two Ts facing across the opening of a wire bangle. Rome engraves the full inscription, New York a single stroke.
