Torsade de Chaumet

Ropes of gold and diamonds twisting freely round a straight line of stones, after the spiral frieze that climbs the Vendôme Column outside the house's windows.

Chance Infinie

A figure eight laid on its side, the infinity sign and the number of the house's eightieth year, made into a gold link.

Spiral and loop. Torsade de Chaumet, shown in July 2021, a year after the house's restored home at 12 Vendôme reopened, twists ropes of white gold and diamonds round a line of coloured stones in tribute to the column in the square. Chance Infinie, created by FRED in 2016, loops a single strand into a figure eight, for the house's eightieth year and for infinity. The twist climbs, as the bronze frieze does. FRED's line returns to where it began.
