Chance Infinie

A figure eight laid on its side, the infinity sign and the number of the house's eightieth year, made into a gold link.

Both signs are drawn by crossing a line over itself. In Chaumet's Liens, dated to the Liens d'Or ring of 1977, a ribbon folds into an X between two bands of gold, a tie between two people. In FRED's Chance Infinie, created in 2016 as 8°0 for the house's eightieth year, the crossing makes a figure eight on its side, which reads as infinity. Chaumet's sign has since become a medal to engrave with names and dates; FRED's was redrawn in 2025 in pink and white gold.
