Margherita

A daisy, margherita in Italian, set in diamonds and named for the queen whose name it shares.

Piaget Sunlight ring in rose gold: a disc of engraved gold rays edged with diamonds around a diamond-set centre, on a transparent ground.

Piaget Sunlight

The sun as a disc of gold rays, each segment engraved, brushed or polished, around a halo of diamonds.

Sun and daisy share a plan: a centre with rays. Piaget Sunlight treats the rays as segments of gold, each one engraved, brushed or polished, around a halo of diamonds and sometimes a turquoise or malachite heart, a theme the house began in high jewelry in 2017. Damiani's Margherita gives the same plan to petals of diamonds in white gold, the flower its founder made for Margherita of Savoy in the 1920s. Texture leads in Geneva, sparkle in Valenza.
