Tilda's Bow

A silk bow, freshly tied by hand, rebuilt in rows of round and baguette diamonds, each baguette cut individually to follow the curve of a loop.

Between the Finger

Van Cleef & Arpels

Between the Finger

An open ring that lies across two fingers, with a motif at each end turned toward the other.

Tilda's Bow sits on top of the finger like silk just pulled tight, its loops built from rows of round and baguette diamonds in white gold, each baguette cut to follow the bend. The open ring Van Cleef & Arpels first made in 1972 spreads across two fingers instead, a motif at each end: two flowers at first, later clovers, pearls and butterfly wings in gold, mother-of-pearl, carnelian or coral. Graff gathers everything into one knot, and Between the Finger divides it between two ends.
