The story
The house timeline records that Harry Winston and his designers first introduced the Sunflower motif in 1950. The flower is reduced to geometry: one centre stone, eight matched stones around it, proportions sketched with a compass in the New York studio. It is made today as pendants and earrings in platinum, mostly in diamonds, some with sapphires or rubies.
