Piaget Sunlight

The sun as a disc of gold rays, each segment engraved, brushed or polished, around a halo of diamonds.

Fleurette

Van Cleef & Arpels

Fleurette

Seven round diamonds gathered into one small stylised flower, a corolla of stones with almost no metal showing.

In Piaget Sunlight the diamonds are a frame; in Fleurette they are the flower. Piaget sets a diamond halo inside a disc of gold rays, each ray textured differently, around a coloured centre, a theme that came down from high jewelry after 2017. Fleurette, from Van Cleef & Arpels, is seven round diamonds in a small corolla, with so little metal on show that the stones seem to hold themselves. Piaget spreads its sparkle outward through gold, and Fleurette gathers it into a compact knot.
