Boucheron

Plume de Paon

A peacock feather drawn barb by barb in pavé, its eye marked by a single larger diamond, curling round the finger or falling from a chain.

Fleurette

Van Cleef & Arpels

Fleurette

Seven round diamonds gathered into one small stylised flower, a corolla of stones with almost no metal showing.

Fleurette is almost all stone: seven round diamonds gathered into a corolla with barely any metal visible, a flower Van Cleef & Arpels has set since the 1920s and made into a collection around 2000. Plume de Paon also hides its gold under diamonds, but at length, a peacock feather paved barb by barb with a larger stone for the eye, which Boucheron has kept in its repertoire since 1860.
