Plume de Paon

A peacock feather drawn barb by barb in pavé, its eye marked by a single larger diamond, curling round the finger or falling from a chain.

Drawn barb by barb in pavé, the Plume de Paon has been in Boucheron's repertoire since 1860, when Frédéric Boucheron and his workshop head Paul Legrand set peacock feathers on hair ornaments and brooches. Its eye is one larger diamond, and on the hand the feather curls round the finger. Blossom, launched in London in spring 2016, works at a smaller scale: cherry flowers after the Japanese sakura, with diamonds resting on the petals like dew.
