Boodles

Blossom

Small cherry blossoms in white, rose or yellow gold, their petals beaded with diamonds like dew on a spring morning.

Sunflower

Harry Winston

Sunflower

Eight matched stones ring a single round brilliant like petals around a seed head, laid out with a compass for strict symmetry.

Laid out with a compass in Harry Winston's New York studio in 1950, the Sunflower is botany turned into geometry: one round brilliant, eight matched stones around it, mostly diamonds in platinum, sometimes sapphires or rubies. Boodles' Blossom, made in London from 2016, lets the flower stay a flower. Its cherry heads have shaped gold petals, and the diamonds are scattered over them like dew rather than ranked in a ring.
