Macri

Yellow and white gold engraved with thousands of hair-fine parallel rigato lines that catch light like silk moiré, starred with diamonds set in tiny rosettes.

Extremely Piaget

Gold chased and engraved until it reads like silk or bark, revived from the house's 1970s cuffs and sautoirs and lit with turquoise, opal and diamonds.

Engraved gold that reads as fabric is the shared idea. Macri's rigato is a field of parallel strokes incised by hand, so yellow and white gold glow like moiré; small diamonds sit among them in star-shaped settings. Extremely Piaget chased its rose gold and engraved it until it read like silk or bark, the texture of Piaget's 1970s cuffs revived in 2014. Macri adds only small diamonds to the effect, set in stars, where Piaget brought in turquoise and opal.
