Yellow and white gold engraved with thousands of hair-fine parallel rigato lines that catch light like silk moiré, starred with diamonds set in tiny rosettes.
Iconica
A wide gold band with rounded, pillowy edges and the Pomellato signature engraved inside, made in widths from extra-slim to bold so several can crowd one finger.
Pomellato engraves its signature on the inner face of Iconica and leaves the outside smooth, rounded, pillowy. Buccellati engraves the whole outer surface of Macri with rigato, fine parallel lines worked by hand, and studs it with diamonds in star-shaped settings. Both rings carry engraving, then, on opposite faces. The two Milanese houses are neighbours with different instincts, Pomellato's for volume and Buccellati's for texture.
