Elsa Peretti Bone Cuff

A cuff modelled on the bones of the wrist, its edges rolled and its surface dipped, so the metal reads as anatomy rather than ornament.

Vincenzo Castaldo rounded and thickened Pomellato's first band ring of 1970 into Iconica in 2017, giving it pillowy edges and making it in several widths that crowd a single finger. In that same year of 1970, Elsa Peretti was drawing a cuff whose rolled edges and hollowed surface follow the bones of the wrist. Both pieces are soft to the eye. Iconica keeps its signature inside the band, where only the wearer sees it, and the Bone Cuff wears its source on the outside, legible as anatomy.
