Le Petit Cactus

The flower of the vanilla cactus, which opens for one night a year, made as a small burst of rose gold stamens around a single stone.

Rose gold serves both, in very different gestures. On Le Petit Cactus, which Laure-Isabelle Mellerio drew in 2019, it bursts outward as fine stamens round a single stone, after a vanilla cactus flower that opens for one night a year and that Redouté painted for Marie-Antoinette. On Fiorever, Bulgari's flower of late 2018, it closes into four smooth petals that cup a brilliant-cut diamond.
