Le Petit Cactus at Mellerio

The story

Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, fourteenth generation of the family, drew the line from a flower dear to Marie-Antoinette, the house's first royal client: the vanilla cactus of Mexico and the West Indies, which Redouté painted at the queen's request. Each motif is built around the pistil, and the blossoms are scattered on fine chains, studs and rings, set with white, brown or yellow diamonds or with sapphires and tsavorites.

    Mimosa, Damiani

Mellerio also picks a flower for its character: the vanilla cactus that opens one night a year, where Damiani's mimosa blooms in any weather.
