Le Petit Cactus

The flower of the vanilla cactus, which opens for one night a year, made as a small burst of rose gold stamens around a single stone.

Le Petit Cactus recalls Marie-Antoinette, Mellerio's first royal client, who had Redouté paint the vanilla cactus whose flower opens one night a year; Laure-Isabelle Mellerio turned it into small rose-gold stamens around a single stone in 2019. Grace Kelly, later Princess of Monaco, wore Grain de Café in the years after Jeanne Toussaint introduced the coffee bean at Cartier in 1938, a solid, grooved gold form far from the cactus's fine burst.
