A four-petal gold flower opened around a single brilliant-cut diamond at its heart.
Heart-shaped petals were already on Van Cleef & Arpels clips and cigarette cases in the 1940s; the Frivole collection of 2003 polishes them to a mirror by hand and scatters the blossoms in loose, asymmetric groups. Fiorever, launched by Bulgari at the end of 2018, holds its four petals in strict order instead, rose or white gold opened around a brilliant-cut diamond.
