Grain de Café

Calla

One smooth cone, furled like a calla lily, hung alone on a necklace whose clasp disappears.

Smooth, rounded gold with nothing to interrupt it is what Calla and Grain de Café share. Vhernier's cone, made since 1998, furls like a lily and hangs singly from a chain with a hidden clasp. Cartier's coffee beans, introduced by Jeanne Toussaint in 1938, come in clusters instead, each bean full and grooved down the middle, and the 2023 line edges them with diamonds and mixes two colours of gold.
