Move

Diamonds set loose in an open gold cage so they slide from end to end as the wrist moves: three stones in Move Classique, one in Move Uno.

Happy Hearts and Move each give one diamond the run of its setting. In Chopard's version it rolls inside an open gold heart, paired since 2009 with a solid heart of coloured stone, a motif tied to Caroline Scheufele. In Messika's it slides along an open cage, alone in Move Uno or three at a time in Move Classique, an idea Valérie Messika took from watching her father handle stones. Both grew out of family stories, and both let a diamond out of its claws.
