Winston Cluster

Pear, marquise and round diamonds set at different angles on a nearly invisible platinum frame, so the stones, not the metal, draw the shape.

The Winston Cluster draws its shapes in pear, marquise and round diamonds tilted on a platinum frame meant to vanish, so the stones alone describe a wreath or a spray; the Wreath necklace holds about 180 of them. Boule takes the opposite view of metal. De Grisogono made the gold sphere the subject, light and full, left polished or covered edge to edge with small diamonds. Winston's platinum hides behind the stones, whereas at de Grisogono the gold is the form and the diamonds only its skin.
