Winston Cluster

Pear, marquise and round diamonds set at different angles on a nearly invisible platinum frame, so the stones, not the metal, draw the shape.

Pair of Gatsby medium hoop earrings in yellow gold, each a thin oval lined with pavé diamonds, on a pale grey ground.

Gatsby

A line of pavé drawn as a single straight stroke (a bar on a chain, a band, a hoop), the geometry of a 1920s diamond bracelet pared to one gesture.

Hidden metal is the trick of the Winston Cluster. Harry Winston's studio set pear, marquise and round diamonds at angles on a platinum frame slight enough to disappear, and the Wreath necklace carries about 180 of them. Gatsby keeps its gold in view as the rail for a single row of small diamonds, run straight along a bar, a band or a hoop. Its name comes from Fitzgerald's 1925 novel, and it is made to be worn three or four at once, where one Wreath fills a whole neckline.
