Extremely Piaget

Gold chased and engraved until it reads like silk or bark, revived from the house's 1970s cuffs and sautoirs and lit with turquoise, opal and diamonds.

Fantina bangle: an open rose-gold loop with a pavé-set inner edge and a diamond-tipped end, on a pale grey ground.

Pomellato

Fantina

Seamless open ellipses of rose or white gold, edged with pavé and tapering to points, drawn from the clean lines of the riding world.

A Milanese stable and a Geneva palace. Fantina draws on the riding world behind Pomellato's name, which means dappled; Extremely Piaget on the Palace-decor gold that Piaget chased and engraved in the 1970s. Both make open cuffs in rose gold. Fantina's cuff is smooth, one seamless line tapering to diamond points. Piaget's, shown in 2014, wore its surface like bark, with turquoise and opal close by.
