Pomellato

Iconica

A wide gold band with rounded, pillowy edges and the Pomellato signature engraved inside, made in widths from extra-slim to bold so several can crowd one finger.

Perlée

Van Cleef & Arpels

Perlée

The house's oldest ornament, the polished gold bead, made into the whole jewel: bangles, rings and hoops lined with rows of tiny golden spheres.

Iconica's edge is a soft roll; Perlée's is a row of tiny spheres. Pomellato went back to the band ring it first made in 1970 and, for its fiftieth year in 2017, plumped it into Iconica. Van Cleef & Arpels took the gold bead that has bordered its jewels for about a century and gave it a line in 2008. Iconica is smooth and signed inside; Perlée is beaded, polished on the back as well as the front. Both are made for stacking.
