The story

In 1966 Henri Samuel, son of the founder, made a bracelet from the rigging of the family's sailing world: steel marine cable fastened with yellow gold. Today a U-shaped gold shackle clips onto interchangeable cables in steel and a range of colours, and the line runs from slim all-gold bracelets to diamond high jewelry necklaces.

FRED's eightieth-year infinity link is made to clip onto the same braided steel cable the Force 10 shackle closes.

  • Jack de Boucheron three-turn piece in yellow gold: a coiled flexible gold cable with its faceted jack-shaped clasp ends, on a white ground.

Jack takes up the supple cable closed by an industrial fitting and swaps the shackle for a faceted audio-jack plug.
