The story
Shown as high jewellery in the early 2010s, Melody of Colours gathered de Grisogono's habits, rare stones, dense setting and generous volume, around colour, and the house presented it as a showcase for Fawaz Gruosi's play on cut, light and texture. The Jewellery Editor counted 423 amethysts, 102 rubies and 116 pink sapphires in a single pair of earrings. Like the rest of the house's work, it is now historical.
