Raindance

Round diamonds of unequal sizes, each in its own collet, scattered across open platinum bands like raindrops landing on a window.

Melody of Colours

Colour massed by the hundred: small amethysts, rubies, pink sapphires and tsavorites crowded over full gold forms until the surface reads as one tone.

Colour is where these two part. Melody of Colours, high jewelry shown by de Grisogono in the early 2010s, crowded hundreds of small amethysts, rubies, pink sapphires and tsavorites over full gold forms; one pair of earrings held 423 amethysts. Raindance began in platinum and white diamonds, each round stone in its own collet with air around it, and reached sapphires, emeralds and enamel only later. Even in colour, the Boodles ring keeps its spacing, so every drop stays legible.
