The story

Piaget presented Solstice in 2022 as the second chapter of its 'Give Us The Night' high jewellery story, imagining the longest night of the year as a party. Its signature is the cocktail ring: pink sapphires for grenadine, emeralds for mint, rough diamonds for ice and carved peridot for lime, assembled so the decoration opens and frees the centre gem. The house's current Cocktail rings, named for drinks such as 'Violet on the Rocks', carry the same conceit into boutique jewellery.

Solstice gives the big coloured stone a garnish that comes away, so one ring can be worn dressed or bare.
