Laurence Graff Signature
The facets of a cut diamond carried over into solid gold: bands, cuffs and chains whose surfaces break into sharp planes like a polished stone.
Gold is cut to catch light in both, in lines on one and in planes on the other. Macri's rigato is engraved by hand, thousands of parallel strokes that shimmer like silk across yellow and white gold. Laurence Graff Signature works the metal into broad facets, as if it were itself a stone, then adds diamonds only when the gold is finished. Buccellati scatters its diamonds in tiny star settings. Graff named its line for the founder, whose trade was the cut stone.
