Buccellati

Opera

The Buccellati emblem, a four-petalled rosette of winding lines, cut out and worn as the jewel itself: in engraved gold, in diamond pavé, or laid over a pierced tulle lattice.

Alhambra

Van Cleef & Arpels

Alhambra

A four-leaf clover cut from stone and ringed with a double row of gold beads, repeated along a chain like a string of charms.

Clover and rosette are close in outline, both four-lobed emblems used as a signature. Alhambra, drawn by Van Cleef & Arpels in 1968, edges its clover with a double row of gold beads and strings it along chains in stone, guilloché gold or enamel. Opera, introduced in 2015, is Buccellati's own rosette, its four petals filled with winding lines, engraved, paved, or set over openwork tulle. A clover borrowed from the meadow meets a shape the house already used as its emblem.
