Margherita

A daisy, margherita in Italian, set in diamonds and named for the queen whose name it shares.

Eighteen centuries separate the Baths of Caracalla, completed in AD 216, from Bulgari's Divas' Dream of 2016, whose fan copies a ginkgo pattern in their mosaic floors and comes in gold, pavé or inlays such as lapis lazuli. Damiani's Margherita looks back a single century, to the jewel Enrico Grassi Damiani made in the 1920s for Margherita of Savoy, queen and namesake of the Italian daisy, kept since in white gold and diamonds.
