Precious Lace dissolves its flower into openwork, scallops and swirls of gold set with diamonds after antique lace; Chopard showed it as high jewelry in 2016, and its compact line still sits between fine and high. Fiorever, launched by Bulgari two years later, is solid and graphic by comparison: four rose or white gold petals and a brilliant-cut diamond at the heart, with no openwork at all.
