Precious Lace

Diamonds set in scalloped gold openwork that reads like antique lace, cut into tutu ruffles, waves and hearts.

Lace and feather share a structure, fine repeating lines that open into a shape. Chopard presented Precious Lace in 2016 as diamond parures worked with the scallops and volutes of old lace, and its first motif, a tutu called Mini-Froufrou, now heads a smaller line in ethical rose or white gold. Boucheron's peacock feather has been in the repertoire since 1860, each barb paved, the eye a larger diamond, the Plume de Paon ring curling the length of the finger.
