Precious Lace

Diamonds set in scalloped gold openwork that reads like antique lace, cut into tutu ruffles, waves and hearts.

Grain de Café is a solid: a full, grooved coffee bean cast in gold, which Jeanne Toussaint introduced at Cartier in 1938 and which returned in 2023 with diamond edges and two tones of gold. Precious Lace is mostly air. Chopard's 2016 line pierces rose or white gold into scallops and volutes after antique lace, sets it with diamonds, and shapes it into a tutu, a wave, a cloud or a heart.
