Piaget Rose

A rose in layered gold petals, modelled on the 80-petal rose named after Yves Piaget, with a diamond at its heart.

Thirty years after a Meilland rose was named for Yves Piaget in 1982, the house turned it into the Piaget Rose, sculpted rose-gold petals, some plain and some paved, around a diamond. Grain de Café starts from another plant and another part of it, the seed of the coffee shrub. Jeanne Toussaint cast it for Cartier in 1938, full and grooved, gathered the beans in clusters, and saw them worn through the 1950s and 1960s.
