Piaget Rose

A rose in layered gold petals, modelled on the 80-petal rose named after Yves Piaget, with a diamond at its heart.

Yves Piaget grew roses all his life, and in 1982 a Meilland rose of some 80 petals took his name after winning in Geneva; in 2012 the house turned it into the Piaget Rose, sculpted rose-gold petals, plain or paved, around a single diamond. Frédéric Boucheron and Paul Legrand worked from a bird rather than a garden, putting the peacock feather on hair ornaments from 1860, and the Plume de Paon is now set in pavé that bends round the finger.
