Piaget Sunlight
The sun as a disc of gold rays, each segment engraved, brushed or polished, around a halo of diamonds.
Each began in high jewelry and stepped down into a smaller everyday line. Chopard showed Precious Lace in 2016 as diamond parures of scalloped openwork, then kept the Mini-Froufrou tutu alongside a wave, a cloud and a heart. Piaget's sun rose in Sunlight Journey the following year before settling into Piaget Sunlight, a disc of engraved and brushed Decor Palace gold around a diamond halo. Lace is a matter of edges and holes; the sun is a matter of rays.
