Round diamonds alternating with rubies, sapphires or emeralds round a band, like frames on a reel of film running past.

Pomellato

Iconica

A wide gold band with rounded, pillowy edges and the Pomellato signature engraved inside, made in widths from extra-slim to bold so several can crowd one finger.

Uninterrupted gold makes Iconica; uninterrupted stones make Belle Époque. Pomellato's band, reworked by Vincenzo Castaldo in 2017, is smooth and rounded, its signature hidden on the inside. Damiani's band, rooted in Enrico Grassi Damiani's sketches of Paris, carries a continuous procession of diamonds and coloured stones in turn. Iconica has since taken diamonds and coloured stones too, but its first idea was gold alone, and Belle Époque's has always been the gem.
