Lily Cluster

Interlacing petals of small pavé-set round diamonds, accented with a single marquise, form a lily caught mid-bloom.

A queen's name and a studio drawing lie behind these flowers. Margherita goes back to the 1920s, when Enrico Grassi Damiani designed a daisy jewel for Margherita of Savoy, and the house still sets it in diamonds and white gold. Harry Winston's Lily Cluster of 2010 reaches back to sketches from the early 1940s, pavé petals that interlace around one marquise. The Italian daisy is frontal and open; the American lily curls, caught mid-bloom.
