Plume de Paon

A peacock feather drawn barb by barb in pavé, its eye marked by a single larger diamond, curling round the finger or falling from a chain.

Lily Cluster

Interlacing petals of small pavé-set round diamonds, accented with a single marquise, form a lily caught mid-bloom.

Small diamonds laid edge to edge do the drawing in both. Lily Cluster, launched by Harry Winston in 2010 from studio sketches of the early 1940s, uses them on interlacing petals with one marquise as accent, a lily mid-bloom in platinum, yellow or rose gold. In the Plume de Paon, which Boucheron dates to 1860, pavé maps each barb of a peacock feather, and a single larger stone takes the place of the eye.
