Lily Cluster

Interlacing petals of small pavé-set round diamonds, accented with a single marquise, form a lily caught mid-bloom.

Calla

One smooth cone, furled like a calla lily, hung alone on a necklace whose clasp disappears.

Two lilies, though only one is a lily in the botanist's sense: the calla belongs to the arum family. Harry Winston's Lily Cluster, from 2010, opens its petals mid-bloom in hand-set diamonds with one marquise, after drawings from the 1940s, in platinum, yellow or rose gold. Vhernier's Calla closes the flower into a single smooth cone of rose or white gold, hung alone on a chain whose clasp disappears, a design made since 1998.
