The quatrefoil and the flower

Margherita or Calla

Damiani · Vhernier

Margherita

Damiani

Margherita

A daisy, margherita in Italian, set in diamonds and named for the queen whose name it shares.

Calla

Vhernier

Calla

One smooth cone, furled like a calla lily, hung alone on a necklace whose clasp disappears.

White gold and diamonds have carried Damiani's daisy since Enrico Grassi Damiani designed a jewel for Queen Margherita of Savoy in the 1920s, playing on the flower's Italian name; a more colourful Margherita Bloom joined it in 2026. Calla, from another Valenza house, Vhernier, strips its flower back further. One smooth cone, furled like a lily, hangs alone on a chain, in polished gold or in ebony with a grain like a teak deck.
