Piaget Sunlight

The sun as a disc of gold rays, each segment engraved, brushed or polished, around a halo of diamonds.

Journeys frame these pieces. Laure-Isabelle Mellerio based Giardino on Isola Madre in Lake Maggiore, an openwork four-petalled flower with a coloured stone, its blue sapphires standing for the water. Piaget presents Piaget Sunlight as a trip from La Côte-aux-Fées, the Jura village where the house began, to the Riviera: a disc of engraved and brushed gold rays around a halo of diamonds. Both are travel pieces in rose gold. Giardino recalls a garden, Sunlight a quality of light.
