The story
Laure-Isabelle Mellerio built the line on the Borromean Islands and the lush, half-wild garden of Isola Madre rather than on the clipped terraces of Italian gardens. Pink sapphires, rubies and tsavorites carry the colours of its flowers and a few blue sapphires the lake; the motif has since shrunk into Mini Giardino, grown into medals and become the clasp of the house's Jardins Suspendus bracelets.
