Extremely Piaget

Gold chased and engraved until it reads like silk or bark, revived from the house's 1970s cuffs and sautoirs and lit with turquoise, opal and diamonds.

Antifer four-row ring in pink gold, each row rising to a point, on a light grey ground.

Antifer

A band with one sharp peak, named after a Normandy cliff, repeated row on row until the ring becomes a ridge.

Piaget's 1970s gave Extremely Piaget its vocabulary: Palace-decor gold ribbons, chased cuffs, opal and turquoise. Gaia Repossi's minimalism gave Antifer a much shorter one, a single peak per row, multiplied up to ten. Piaget restaged its decade in 2014; Repossi had launched her ring a year earlier. Engraved richness on one side, bare geometry on the other, though Antifer has since taken on studs of turquoise and mother-of-pearl of its own.
